These terms govern your use of elysiumbliss.ca and any purchase you make from us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.
Elysium Bliss is operated from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Elysium Bliss is a registered trade name of Sarah Assaf, operating from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Who can order
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order.
Products, prices and availability
All prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude shipping and any applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout
Everything is made by hand in small batches, so there will be slight variation between batches in colour, scent strength and texture. That's the nature of small-batch production, not a defect.
We photograph our products as accurately as we can, but screens differ and colours may not render exactly.
We may change prices, update formulations or discontinue products at any time. If a product is unavailable after you've ordered it, we'll contact you and refund that item in full.
Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send your shipping confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock, if we can't ship to your address, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel after payment, we refund in full.
If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel the order rather than fulfil it, and will refund you in full.
Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment processor. We don't store your card details.

Our skincare and body care products
Our products are cosmetics. They are not drugs or natural health products. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, and nothing on this site should be taken as medical advice.
Patch test before first use. Every formula carries patch test instructions on the label and on its product page. Apply a small amount to the inner forearm, once daily for three days, before using it more widely. Stop using any product if irritation develops.
Full ingredient lists (INCI) are published on every product page. If you have a known allergy or sensitivity, read them before you buy, and ask us at care@elysiumbliss.ca if anything is unclear.
If you are pregnant, nursing, or have a skin condition or are under medical care, speak to your doctor or dermatologist before using products containing essential oils or active ingredients.
Our candles, wax melts and diffusers
Candles are an open flame and carry real risk if misused. When you buy one you agree to follow the safety instructions supplied with it and shown on its product page:
Never leave a burning candle unattended
Keep away from children, pets, drafts and anything flammable
Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface
Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each use
Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time
Stop burning when about 1 cm of wax remains
Wax melts are for use in a proper wax warmer only — never on a stovetop or open flame
Reed diffusers contain fragrance oil. Keep away from children and pets, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and place on a protected surface — the oil can damage finishes
We are not responsible for damage, injury or loss caused by failure to follow these instructions.
Gift cards
Gift cards are redeemable on elysiumbliss.ca, have no expiry date, and are not refundable or exchangeable for cash. Any unused balance stays on the card.
Our content
All text, photographs, product names, formulations, logos and design on this site belong to Elysium Bliss. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission.
You're welcome to share our product photos on social media with credit to @elysium_bliss_scented.
Anything you send us
If you send us a review, photo, testimonial or comment, you give us permission to use it in our marketing with attribution to your first name unless you tell us otherwise. You confirm it's your own work and doesn't infringe anyone's rights.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any product or from your use of this site is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Alberta's Consumer Protection Act or other applicable consumer protection law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
Links to other sites
We sometimes link to other websites. We're not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in effect when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Alberta.
